a computer made to look pretty

here's the entry for the rest of my visit to tara's house...

well, after i stopped writing at 7:40, i basically just laid back down, because i had nothing else to do. i didn't try to sleep. i just laid there. it became hard to keep my eyes open. the last time i looked at the clock it was around 8:30. sometime after that, i eventually fell asleep.

i woke up first at around 12:30. tara was gone. this enabled me to be a little more comfortable. i fell back asleep, and woke up again at 3. i got up, and found her working on her room. as i began playing with the magnets a little bit more, her mom came in, back from her trip.

tara went out to greet her, and i went out to eat a bagel with cream cheese. then we just sorta all sat in the living room. it was a little awkward. i'm not extremely comfortable talking with her mom. i'm not extremely uncomfortable... but not extremely comfortable either.

tara and i had trouble thinking of what to do. i don't know why we have such a hard time coming up with ways to entertain ourselves. we decided to play with marbles, and went off to her room to do that. we weren't really sure what to do with them, though. we ended up arranging them to make pictures. i made a llama.

at around 5, i called my dad and asked him to pick me up when he left work. he came and got me as it was nearing 6.

i left there with a mac that they no longer wanted. tara offered it to me, and i couldn't turn it down. for some reason i've always had trouble seeing macs as "real computers." i mean, the thing looks like it was made to look pretty, rather than be a good computer. i wanted a way to check how my sites look on a mac, though, so i took it.

so here's a few pictures of it. i'll write more about it later, as well as post the pictures and videos that were taken at tara's.
