baby bunny update #1

well, there's still four baby bunnies. i tried to check on them last night, but when i started to open the cage, pixel (the mother) jumped right on them, so i backed off. today i went out there, and this time she stayed where she was. i put my hand over her to keep her from jumping on them, and looked to see if they were all still there. they were. when i put my hand on them, they acted as if they wanted to be nursed, though they're all pretty fat.

i went and got a granola bar, pixel's favorite treat. i distracted her with that, while i tried to take a picture of them in the nest. it turned out kinda dark though...

so i took one out and snapped a few pictures of it real quick...

so they've survived one day, so far.
