melissa and joel and the park with the tree

i hung out with melissa and joel last friday. we went to a park, ate pizza and watched a movie. i had a great time, and actually climbed a tree! that was definitely progress for me.

i wanna write it all out with details, but... i'm not going to.

yes, i let melissa take a picture of me. i'm not sure what i was thinking. i'm definitely not comfortable enough for that yet. the result is a weird look on my face.

this is a triangular branch. it grew out one direction, turned, grew out some more, turned again, and continued growing. what a creative tree.
