i wanna climb a tree and roll down a hill

Monday, Apr. 21, 2008 | 1:15 AM

well i went to youth group early again.

nick was there, but him and joel went out to roll around in the grass, leaving melissa and i alone. i think we had a pretty good conversation...or at least it was one in which i talked more than usual. she told me about the retreat that she went on, and how she discovered that she really likes making earrings. then we talked about my interest in volunteering at shepherd's door, and whether or not i have had an "addiction."

later, after everyone else arrived, we went outside while the guys jumped out of a tree and rolled down a grassy hill. melissa took some pictures with my camera. she took all of these, except for one...

i'm gonna start with this one because i like it. it's kind of an honest picture. it's a candid shot, and there's no bright glare on the grass because no flash was used. there's no evidence of there being a camera there. it looks peaceful with tim laying on his back, and you can tell it's evening because of the sunset sky reflected on that glass door.

i took this one while setting the settings on my camera. it's another candid shot. i like candid shots, because then you get things like billy there doing something with his nose or something.

they were rolling down the hill

tim ran bubble down the hill

tim and bubble... i sacrificed some quality here to lighten it up

that's andrew. i'm not sure if he was rolling, or just laying there like that.

there's all five of them. from left to right, we got joel, nick, andrew, billy and tim.

look at tim

i cropped this one quite a lot... because... it kinda looks like billy is completely off the ground, doesn't it? maybe i'm wrong. i don't know. it's hard to tell.
