more awkardnessThursday, Sept. 20, 2007 | 3:15 AM i should write about last thursday. i kinda want to forget it, though, so i won't think back and write about all of the details. i'll just give you a quick summary. melissa and joel and i went out to the barn to ride paloma. the most awkward part was when joel tried to get on, and the saddle slid all the way down to paloma's side. it was stuck, and we couldn't move it or take it off, because it was so tight. we tried for what seemed like forever to remove it. finally we were able to, but we couldn't escape stupid comments made by onlookers. joel didn't really know how to ride, and paloma of course was stubborn, so he was uncomfortable riding. after all this, melissa was too afraid to get on. i'd thought it would be cool, but it turned out to be not the greatest idea. my worst fear is that it was really awkard for them. when trying to make friends with people, taking them out and embarrassing them probably isn't the best tactic. but when we left, as we were driving down the barn road, we totally saw a deer. it was really cool. ...................... .......................................... ............................................. .......................... ....................... .......................... ................................................... ................................ .................. ...................... .......................................... ............................................. .......................... ....................... .......................... ................................................... ................................ .................. ...................... .......................................... ............................................. .......................... ....................... .......................... ................................................... ................................ .................. |
