i want my own house

my dad still hasn't gotten ahold of the lady about that house on an acre... so i don't know if anything is gonna happen with that. i'm excited about a new house now though.

my dad has been working for the guy that we rented our old house from. he's doing electrical stuff... on house he's selling. i went with him today. the great thing about this house is that it has a little house in the backyard. if we were to live there, i'd basically have my own house. he also has it set up so that there's this concrete area for dogs to poop in, and these holes with metal grates over them, so it can just be hosed away, making cleaning really easy. the way it's set up, it looks like it would be pretty easy to chicken wire that place off, and put a cat/dog door in the little house, so the dogs and cats could go in and out, but not leave the yard. that would mean no litter box. the little house has a little bedroom, and that could be the ferret room. it's too small for my bed to fit in it, because it has a sloped roof... but if i was the only one living there, i could just stick my bed in the main room. it really seems perfect for us.

the only drawback is that it's in a neighborhood here in portland... no real space. but it would solve so many of my problems. plus my dad knows the guy that's selling it. he's been working for him to pay off what we owe him, and they've started to along pretty well and stuff. he might... just might... work with us so that we can buy it.

we're still gonna talk to the lady about that sandy house on monday, but i also want to see about getting this house. i think it would be easier, since we know the guy, and it almost is kinda better than the sandy house. i mean, i would have my OWN house!! isn't that just a wonderful thought?

i took some videos of it. first i took this one. i started with the little house, and did the main house second. then when i realized that the lights in the little house were working, i took this second video of it, even though it's a little redundant.
